On October 5 and 6, we attended for the first time the employment forum for the University of Oviedo which celebrated its twentieth edition this year at the Luis Adaro Fairgrounds in Gijón, a meeting space in which we exchange experiences with many students from different specialties and who have come to our stand to meet ebroker talent.

The students who came to our stand discovered how for us, people are the basis of our activity, promoting their talent and betting on multidisciplinarity, diversity, creativity, critical thinking and the complementarity of technical and non-technical profiles, promoting the personal and professional growth of people.

On the first day of the event, the Round table "Data as raw material. For whom?", I meet the one who was invited to discuss our CEO Higinio Iglesias, who explained the platform's strategy regarding the use of data for insurance brokers “What we do at ebroker is try to understand what the data represents in the insurance distribution channel and what can be deduced from that data, transforming it into information and knowledge so that brokers can make decisions regarding how the insurance market behaves. market: price indices, turnover rates, etc».

Our CTO Saul Gonzalez imparted the Masterclass “DevSecOps and secure application development” to which the programmer students of the School of Informatics interested in the subject attended and listened to the explanations of our highest IT manager on this philosophy of software development that we follow in ebroker and how security is an element that must be present in all phases of a technological project.

Similarly, we were present at the four recruitment sessions Express of the Forum, in which both Pedro Ramos, head of Project Engineering, and Álvaro Sahelices, data analyst, and Alejandro Gayo, Marketing and Communication specialist, were able to learn about various student profiles and their concerns in order to offer them a proposal for integration to the ebroker Team.
