Last week the VIII Meeting of the Mediation of the Insurance Sector of Granada 2023 where ebroker was one of the main sponsors, an event organized by the College of Insurance Mediators of Granada attended by numerous professionals from the sector and the broker channel.
The day was divided into two main parts. The first consisted of a “Scientific Session: Sectoral round table-debate on current events in the Insurance Sector” in which the CEO of ebroker, Higinio Iglesias, participated, reflecting on the crucial role of the technology in the evolution of insurance brokers.
Higinio highlighted the dizzying speed with which the industry has evolved in recent years, especially in the post-pandemic context. “In 2000 it was unthinkable to talk about Artificial Intelligence,” commented Iglesias, “but here we are in 2023, facing significant change and disruption. "We insurance mediators cannot miss this train of transformation." “We know that AI represents a great boost in the field of information management, mainly through predictive analytics, since it represents great potential in the use of data to design business strategies. At ebroker, there we are.”
The debate table was also made up of Marià Rigau, CEO ARAG, Sonia Calzada Maroto, Business Director of the People Segment in Zurich, Jorge Benítez, president of AEMES and the Professional College of Insurance Mediators of Valencia, Jordi Triola, president of the College Professional Insurance Mediators of Girona and Javier Montoya, development of the Corridors and Institutions Channel in the West. A session moderated by Genaro Sánchez, president of the College of Granada.
In the second part of the meeting, various institutional events were addressed by the College of Insurance Mediators of Granada, such as the Graduation of Students Promotion 2022/2023, the delivery of a study scholarship for the best academic record, as well as different recognitions and awards to companies, brokers and personalities that have stood out this year in the sector.
ebroker continues its support for insurance brokers, in this case the Andalusian ones, with whom it has historically maintained a close relationship through participation in this type of events and the search for the promotion of insurance mediation through presentations, presentations, debates and sessions that give visibility and value the channel's activity.
