Taking stock of 2023. This has been the race for business share in attracting new non-life insurance production, month by month, from some of the main insurers in the market in insurance brokerages in Spain.

The time lapse allows us to take a tour of the evolution of non-life insurance marketing from which we can draw some conclusions:

  • Allianz exceeds the rest of the companies by 13,03% on average in new production premiums at the end of 2023
  • Allianz, Mapfre and Reale practically occupy the first positions every month analyzed
  • Generali is the fourth company by representativeness of new production (reaching 2nd position in September and November)
  • The difference in new production between Mapfre, Generali and Reale is less than 1% on average throughout 2023
  • Axa, Liberty, Zurich and Plus Ultra compete every month to reach the first position of the second block of companies by % of new production
